Serie Dos Placas: 650 to 3,000 ton plastic injection molding machine
Our two-plate (2P) plastic injection molding machine is designed to maximize operational efficiency and optimize floor space, available from 650T up to 3,000T. Which injection molding machine do you need?
We select the machine based on the part, the material and the production volume. Here is a quick guide:
Based on what you make:
- Large parts: crates, pallets, auto parts and containers: Two-Platen Series, from 650 to 3,000 tons of clamping force.
- Caps, household items and technical parts: Hybrida Series, from 100 to 1,500 tons, or Óptima Series.
- PET preforms: for water, beverage, oil or cosmetic bottles: Hybrida PET Series, paired with a BLOWSTAR PET blow molder.
- Plant expansion or renewal: Óptima Series, built on the hybrid platform with an optimized investment.
Two-platen or toggle machine
Main differences:
- Floor space: a two-platen machine takes up less space than a conventional toggle machine.
- Clamping force: applied directly and hydromechanically, with no linkages.
- Wear: less mechanical wear, since there is no toggle.
- Large molds: extended opening stroke for deep or large molds.
- Typical use: large parts, from 650 tons upward.
